Welcome Class of 1986



Welcome to all of you! I know it has been a long time since we last met (at least for me). I hope we can all keep in touch by using this blog and hopefully through the posting of photos and comments as well. This blog is open to all from Science, Commerce and Arts classes of 1986. I met up with Mun Keong last week in Melbourne and we were thinking of organising a 25th Anniversary Get Together in 2011!!! I emphasise on the word "thinking"!. But we need to inform everyone of this and possibly get some feedback from everyone.
Please pass this on to anyone that you might still be in contact with and let them know of this blog (www.acskampar86.blogspot.com). Will write again soon.

    Hi Hock Seng,
    It has been too long since we last met!!Would be great if the 20th anniversary is possible, which is next year!! Time, I suppose,might be against us which was why we thought of aiming for 2011 instead. Nevertheless, the sooner we meet up the better, I guess.

    hey all, for those who have had gatherings, pls share some photos lah.....so that at least we can keep track of how we have 'grown' or changed over the years...who knows we might not even noticed if we ever bumped into each other in shopping malls, recreation parks, etc

    dear all from 86,
    20 years but it seems like evbody is coming to the time capsule of Class 86 here. An update of myself,I'm a homemaker now with 4 kids; 3 girls and 1 boy. Quit teaching 2 years ago. I spend my time ferrying my children to and fro school, learning Mandarin while coaching my girl in this subject. Managing the household takes a lot of my time, so i tak goyang kaki like a tai tai! I keep in close contact with christina.

    sam and ah moh, thanks for the effort getting this blog up. 21st anniversary is ok, 25 is too long lah. if u need help do let me know

    chun tong, how could i forget you. the unstoppable with Miss Cheong!

    Oh!! I am so happy that tears came to my eyes when I read all your posted messages. I feel like I am back to 20 years ago when we all still at ACS, Kampar. When I went back to Malaysia in June 2005, I didn't get to meet all the friends that I want to meet but a few only with the help of Hock Seng.
    I have been living in Oklahoma, USA for the past 15 years and I two princess, one almost 5 and the other almost 7. My husband has a computer business and I am a housewife since I had my second child.

Other than childminding and housekeeping, I do enjoy baking and cooking.I also take care of my plants but not good with the fish. They all died after CNY! What's your daily routine at Okhl?     i didn't fall asleep at POL! I was a fast learner so that's why I'm teaching my girl Chinese, simplified chinese characters and hanyu pinyin. I can use the chinese dictionary semi-pro. Other than dodging bombs and fleeing bird flu, what do you do in jakarta?

    Hi Yat Wah,

    I am sorry we missed each other the last time I went back. Maybe, we will see each other at the 25th gathering. Life here is very boring if you are used to the life in Malaysia, but I am used to quiet slow pace lifestyle. I like to cook and bake alot too besides minding the kids daily activities. I just started to send my girls to chinese school on the weekend so they can communicated with my In-Laws. We should email each other some family photos and see how we have change.

    By the way, is Nyun Poh same as Leong Nyun Poh who used to live at Golden Dragon, kampar?

    Any gathering for KL folks? I met up with Suit Fan two days ago, thanks to you and Mun keong for digging her out. So much to talk about, 20 years of filling in the blanks. I wish we had a longer night. Both of us have been living in Subang for the past 10 years and yet we had not the chance to bump into each other. Subang Jaya is really that BIG meh??

    Hello everybody. Happy CNY! 2006 generated a lot of communication amongst us during the CNY season. After that what had happened ah...? Thot this blog is gonna go into the freezer if evbdody doesn't visit it.

    Good to know that at least someone is reading it this year. BTW, who are you annonymous "YP"? Identify yourself quick! And you want us to intro our daughters to u? That's called cradle-snatching. It's better you be their "UNCLE".

    Just to update, I'm still doing fine in Kota Kemuning. Once a while, i do catch a glimpse of Hock Seng at our morning Saturday market in K.Kmg.My second daughter is in Std 1. One more to coach at home.

    Keeping myself abreast with the world through the newspapers and some economic mags.
